Structural Integrity Evaluation

Packages Limited, in their industrial premises in Lahore, planned to replace a smaller size boiler with heavier one. The boiler was located on the first floor of the building. Packages desired to evaluate the efficacy of existing structure for the new heavier loads and also to suggest modifications in the structure to support heavier loads. Final report has been submitted to Packages indicating that the structure is failing due to seismic forces. Remedial measures were suggested to cater for the heavier loads
